Let’s start at the beginning, by introducing our founder: Karolin Kruiskamp.
With a background of 25 years in organisational design and 15 years of experience in the Tech Start-up industry, she encountered her first compliance challenge in 2017. “Finding a solution for a young and small Start-up, to comply with corporate standards and drive the business to its first global contract”. Quite the challenge, right? She, nevertheless, successfully finished this job in a few months. The deal was closed and Karolin realised that this challenge would become the #1 business driver for all Tech Start-ups. Hence, Compleye was officially born in 2018.
Ever since then, we have translated this successful lean approach into a platform – Compleye Online – in combination with an educational component – our Compleye Wiki – enabling a Do-It-Yourself approach. Additionally, there is a Compliance Guide when you need a little bit of support. No shame.
Now, in 2022, we grow and scale with our Clients, our Team, our Products and Services. The rest is history.

Inspiration for the Compleye X-ray

We have developed our own Lean Compleye Approach, by making use of an X-ray – a visual of your Value Proposition. This means we are not going to examine the internal composition of your body, but we will do this your business. Do you want to know where we got our inspiration from?
In 2018, our branding team asked us the following: “With what, well known, person would you identify Compleye?” The answer was there very quick and straight: Marie Curie. Why? Because of the combination of (being a woman in) Science, the acknowledgement of two Nobel prices and a picture of Marie in her lab that reminded our founder of her own time spending in labs during her studies.
We performed some more research and discovered this incredible story about this incredible woman:
During World War I – she organized mobile X-Ray Teams – with these machines she assisted over a million soldiers, by locating and treat shrapnel in their bodies. They called them little curies.
Our Compleye X-Ray is a visual of the Value Proposition, locating the digital parts and data flows. That cannot be a coincidence. Marie Curie must already have inspired our founder a very long time ago.
